Parvo Symptoms
Canine parvovirus is the most dangerous virus your dog can get. It will either kill your dog or cost you lots of money and time to heal it – UNLESS you catch it right away and start treatment.
If you see most of these symptoms in your dog, it is not overreacting to assume your dog has parvo and to take immediate action. The biggest mistake I made was assuming my dog has a stomach ache that would go away.
SYMPTOMS:
Lethargy: Your puppy will act depressed and tired. If it’s normally very very happy and energetic, this lethargic state should be a warning flag. It won’t be interested in playing, walking, nothing.
No Appetite: Your dog will not want to eat – in fact, even the smell of food may turn it off. My dog gagged and sometimes vomited when I placed food in front of her, even her favorite foods.
Vomiting: If you’ve been feeding your dog the same thing as usual but it’s vomiting, it could be a sign of parvo. Of course, dogs get into things – the kitchen garbage can, trash lying around outside at parks, etc.
Diarrhea: Probably a lot. Might even be bloody, but not necessarily. My dog’s diarrhea was often not bloody. Can also be yellow or brown.
MOST OBVIOUS SIGN OF PARVO: Your dog’s vomit and diarrhea will have an UNMISTAKABLY foul smell – a smell that will turn on your gag reflexes. There’s no other way to put it. The smell is so bad, and so strong, and has a quality that makes whoever smells it want to throw up. I am not just saying this to exaggerate how bad the smell is.
The more your dog vomits and has diarrhea, the more liquid is leaving its body. Since most parvo-stricken puppies die of dehydration even before it dies from parvo, it is VERY IMPORTANT to take action before your puppy loses too much body fluid. If it loses so much fluid that it’s tongue starts turning white or grayish, take it to an emergency vet and get it on IV’s.

I have used wolf creek ranchs techniques as well and it is amazing! my puppy still has the virus but she is getting better slowly. i had to wait super extra long for my parvaid because of a shipping error but just having vibactra plus, lemon juice, plain yogurt and plain pedialyte made the difference. my puppy went from not being able to even lift her head to bein alert and walking around withing twelve hours. Thanks!
